Product description The Amara Lane Dome Home is designed to be an attractive natural home and safe retreat for hedgehogs and small animals. With a large 460 mm diameter family space it features a sturdy rust proofed steel frame with a water resistant roof liner, a predator defense tunnel and an attractive natural material finish. natural materials may vary seasonally NO INTERNAL MESH Siting - Choose a quiet position out of the prevailing wind in an area with some nearby vegetation cover (areas of the garden with slugs provide a natural food source) Cover with twigs, leaves and brushwood (+50 mm thick) for insulation and spread some leaves/short grass inside the box. Ensure the dome home is covered with dry leaves and brushwood during winter hibernation. If there are badgers or boisterous dogs around , the DOME may be firmly anchored using 2 – 4 tent pegs hooked over the metal frame and driven into the ground.
