Hebe High Voltage is a low maintenance shrub that creates structure and interest in borders all year round. The compact mounds of evergreen foliage are smothered with flowers that fade from electric blue to pure white throughout the summer making it perfect for a cottage border or wildlife garden. High Voltage has been bred to withstand the worst of British weather, in fact in freezing conditions the foliage develops attractive bronze tints. Plant Hebe High Voltage in a sheltered spot in full sun or partial shade in moist, well drained soil. Hebes prefer light sandy, neutral to alkaline soils. Water regularly until the plant is well established and prune lightly after flowering to maintain the shape.
