Hazelnut Long Spanish is the more popular name for this hazelnut shrub. Early spring brings brilliant green foliage that takes on the classic oval shape with a short, pointed tip. Pretty tiny catkins soon start to develop down the length of its graceful branches in charming drooping clusters.
