Description Product Description This pack of Hama 30mm/1.4” camera accessory screws has more to it than meets the eye. On the surface these are simply replacement screws to secure older SLR cameras within their “ever-ready” cases. That used to be the main purpose of these little screws but in recent years they have been used in a number of different ways by creative photographers. Probably the common use is by photographers who create their own macro devices for ultra close up photography using wood, plastic or metal frames to position up to 3 small flash guns in the optimum position for creative lighting on insects, flowers etc. As the device needs to be folded for portability the ability to remove the flash shoe mounts is vital and these screws make that possible as most of the Hama flash mounts have an inbuilt 6.4mm, ¼” inch thread. As 6.4mm/1/4” is a standard mounting thread on the vast majority of cameras, these little screws provide a handy and easy way of securing cameras, flashguns and video cameras simply by drilling a hole in a surface and securing the device in with the screw.
