Guppy Grass is an undemanding, fast-growing plant that, together with Hornwort, is invaluable for providing shelter for fry. Guppy Grass can be planted in the substrate or left floating in the aquarium - either way, it will soon produce many branches and roots and create a beautiful wall of foliage. This low-maintenance plant is a good addition to your aquascape and helps establish a natural aquatic environment for your fish, shrimp and snails - it reduces excess light, discourages algae growth, purifies water, and removes nitrogen. You will get a large portion of Guppy Grass, enough to cover a quarter of a 6-gallon (30-litre) fish tank. The plant will be accurately packaged to avoid damage to stems or roots during transit.
