- Bell Heather Erica Cinerea 'Purple Robe' is an evergreen shrub of bushy, low growing and mat-forming habit. It is a dwarf plant perfect for groundcover, beds, borders, containers and slopes and achieves a height and spread of around 15cm x 45cm in 5-10 years.
- Planted for interest in both its flowers and foliage, this proven variety displays small, bell shaped, purple flowers in Summer and Autumn above narrow,needle like, deep green foliage.
- Suitable for moist but well drained acidic and neutral soils. This is a very hardy plant withstanding extreme Winter conditions of -20 degrees celsius. Suited to the most Northern, exposed and upland locations in the UK. This variety is best positioned in full sun.
