- Heather Calluna Vulgaris 'County Wicklow' is an evergreen shrub of bushy, low growing habit. It is a dwarf, moderately fast growing plant perfect for groundcover, baskets, borders and patio containers and achieves a height and spread of around 25cm x 40cm in around 2-5 years.
- Mostly planted for its flowers, this dwarf sized shrub displays clustered, double, small, soft pink flowers in Summer and Autumn above scaled, dark green foliage.
- Suitable for moist but well drained, acidic soil. This is a very hardy plant withstanding extreme Winter conditions of -20 degrees celsius. Suited to the most Northern, exposed and upland locations in the UK. This variety is best positioned in full sun. This superb shrub has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
