- Photinia x Fraseri 'Little Red Robin' is an evergreen shrub of bushy, compact and erect habit. Smaller and with a growth rate less prolific than its bigger brother 'Red Robin', it is a medium sized shrub perfect as a specimen plant in containers or borders and very useful for creating boundaries and for low hedging. Achieves a height and spread of around 120cm x 120cm in 10-15 years.
- Though producing creamy white flowers in Spring and often followed by red berries, this stunning shrub is mostly planted for its striking foliage where new growth emerges in fiery red before settling to a glossy and lushous deep green.
- Suitable for moist but well drained acidic or neutral soils. This is a hardy plant withstanding cold Winter conditions of -15 to -10 degrees celsius. This variety is best positioned in full sun to part shade.
