- Dwarf Rhododendron Japonica 'Scarlet Wonder' is a beautiful evergreen shrub of bushy, rounded and upright habit. It is a dwarf, slow growing plant perfect for beds, borders, patio containers, rock gardens and achieves a height and spread of around 60cm x 60cm in 5-10 years.
- Planted for interest in both its flowers and foliage, this award winning shrub displays profuse clusters of bell shaped, waxy, blood red flowers in Spring above glossy, ovate, deep green foliage.
- Suitable for moist but well drained acidic soil. This is a hardy plant withstanding very cold Winter conditions of -20 to -15 degrees celsius. Suitable for the vast majority of UK locations regardless of how harsh the Winter becomes. This variety is best positioned in full sun to part shade. This superb shrub has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
