Max weight shown indicates max sheer load (suspended from a fixing, mounted in a vertical wall with a load or weight attached to that fixing and acting vertically downwards) on 15mm plasterboard. All Gripit fixings have been independently tested on 15mm plasterboard to ensure top-level performance.
