The GripIt Undercutting Tool accessory is specially designed for removing insulation or Dot & Dab adhesive from behind plasterboard and drywall, to allow the GripIt wings to rotate into place. Occasionally you may encounter a situation which prevents the wings of the Gripit plasterboard fixing from opening fully. For example, dot and dabbed plasterboard where the fixing point comes too close to a dot or a dab, or when fixing into insulated or double thickness plasterboard. This accessory may also be used for creating wing space when either timber wall studs or building block material is encountered.
