Product Description Soaker hoses are ideal for the continuous watering of hedges, herbaceous borders, vegetable plots etc. Designed to be used at low pressure, soaker hoses can be used with outdoor taps or water butts (as long as the water source is higher than the area to be watered). Complete with snap fit hose fittings including a double male connector so two soaker hoses can be connected together. (NB we do not recommend joining more than two hoses together if they are being fed from a single water source). The Greenkey soaker hose can be used above ground or below ground. If using above ground, apply mulch to prevent water loss through condensation. Clay or heavy soil will impede performance below ground. After purchase, it is advisable to uncoil the hose and let it "relax" before use. This allows the micropores time to re-open, having been coiled in the packaging.
