Directions After exfoliating, apply the self-tanning lotion in circular motions, taking care of the elbows, ankles and knees. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Tanning develops after 3-4 hours. Reapply every 3 to 5 days for maximum effect. If you have particularly sensitive skin, you can test this product by applying a small amount to an area of the inner forearm, leave for 12 hours and look for redness or irritation.
