‘Phoenix’ is an outstanding white grape hybrid that has been chosen specifically for its disease resistance and its outstanding quality fruits. Good sized grapes are produced on the vine in tightly packed clusters. When fully ripe, the fruit has a soft Muscat aroma and a superb flavour. Bred in Germany, the large leaves and excellent autumn colour make this grape vine equally valuable as an ornamental garden feature trained over a pergola. The grapes of ‘Phoenix’ are ideal for eating fresh from the vine or alternatively for wine-making. Grape vines should be watered during dry periods only as over watering can affect the quality of the fruit. Position: full sun. Height of cordon trained vine: 1.8m (6ft). Spread of cordon trained vine: 1.5m (5ft). Height of untrained vine: 8m (26ft). Supplied as 1 x 4.5-litre potted plant.
