Testing the Product Ensure all packaging is removed before connecting the power. Unroll the LED strip light so it can effectively dissipate heat, preventing any potential short-circuiting or melting due to high temperatures during operation. About Waterproofing The main body of the LED strip is encased in PVC tubing, making it waterproof. However, the ends of the strip and the power cord are not waterproof. The power cord should only be used in dry locations. If installed outdoors, ensure the ends of the LED strip are fully sealed and the power cord is protected. This high-voltage product must not be submerged in water. Regarding the Cling Film on Connections The cling film is intended to prevent the power cord from detaching during transit and is not for fixing connections. A loose wrap of cling film is not indicative of a product quality issue. You may choose to remove it, but leaving it on will not affect normal use. Shortening and Extending the Product This product has a minimum working unit of 50cm, with cutting points every 50cm. It must be cut at the marked points to avoid damaging the 50cm sections.
