Product description
Technical specification: connections: SC duplex plug to SC duplex plug, duplex clip can be detached, fibre grade: OM5, core/fibre: 50/125 microns, multi-mode, quality class multimode: A, quality: each cable has its own measuring / test protocol, cable type: GJFJH, halogen free (LSZH) and flame retardant, maximum pulling force: 150 N, max. Bending radius (static): 30 mm - Max. Bending radius (dynamic): 60 mm - Working temperature: -10 to 60 °C - Storage temperature: -10 to 70 °C - Insertion loss 850 nm: = 0.3 dB Added value of OM5 technology The OM5 technology offers a number of improvements compared to previous quality classes. Previous multi-mode fibres are optimised on an optical window or a wavelength range of 850 nm. Behind this window the signals are strongly dampened so that Ethernet signals must be transmitted via multiple parallel multi-mode fibres. For example, for 10 Gigabit Ethernet two fibres are required (one fibre for transmitting = transmit, one for receiving = receive). At 40 or 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications, the signals are divided into eight fibers (2x four fibers of 10 or 25 Gbit/s) or 20 fibers (2x ten fibers of 10 Gbit/s). With OM5 technology, a broadband optimised multi-mode fibre (Wideband multi-mode fibre - WBMMF) is used. In combination with the SWDM (Short Wave Division Multiplexing) technology, a wider optical window can be used. Therefore, four different wavelengths from 850 nm to 950 nm can be used. Each wavelength can work with data rates of 25Gbps. Thus, the number of fibres compared to OM4 is reduced by 4 times. Instead of more complex multi-fibre plugs such as the MPO connector, easier and more cost-effective LWL duplex plugs can be used. Compatibility The OM5 LWL patch cables from Good Connections are fully backwards compatible with previous versions (OM2, OM3 and OM4). This allows you to easily integrate into existing installations.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
