Be careful not to cut too deep to avoid damaging the shaft. Then you can easily peel off the grip skin on the club. If there is residual grip glue under the grip, try to remove it; Step 2 Apply new grip glue to the cleaned club. When applying the new grip glue, leave half an inch on the top of the shaft.
