It is obtained from so-called levelling surfaces. These are areas that cannot be managed but must be compensated for example of newly built roads or facilities in cities. What is so great about grass paper? No habitats are destroyed – no clearance of forests. The paper consists of up to 50% sun-dried grass, derived from compensation surfaces in the Swabian Alba bio-bear region. What is our grass paper made of? It is made from 100% natural substances and can be completely processed without chemicals. Only a minimum of energy and water is required to produce the grass paper. It is completely * from mineral oil and any harmful substances and is produced without bleaching or artificial colouring. What is more important to know? Grass as a new, innovative raw material brings many advantages for the production of paper and cardboards: energy saving over 90% and the CO² reduction by 75% and also no chemicals in raw material production. The paper is FSC mix certif, ISEGA certified, fully recyclable and compostable.
