• The felt is a mix of 30% wool and 70% Viscose and has a lovely soft feel (due to the wool content).
• Can be used on all applications where ever you would use felt and being 6"x6" is perfect for small projects and card makers. Can be glued, sewn and perfect as a base for 2D needle felting.
• The felt is bonded and therefore can be cut in any directions and will not fray. Any creases can be removed with an iron on wool setting and it is dry clean only.

This felt is a mix of 30% wool and 70% viscose which results in a felt with a lovely soft feel (due to the wool content). This listing is for a pack of 10 different colours which a choice of different colourway packs. 6″ x 6″ (nom 15x15cm) and is 1-2mm thick and 300gms/m2. It can be used for all applications where felt is used and can be glued or sewn. It can also be used for toys as it passes the EN71 European Safety Stand. Because of its smaller size (I also sell 9×9″ squares) it is perfect for card makers. This felt is also soft enough to be used for 2D needle felting (also known as ‘painting with wool’) as it will not damage the felting needle like some of the ‘rougher’ felts will. I have been looking for some time for a felt with a soft feel to act as the backing for needle felting and the different colours are perfect to give different effects to your project by allowing the colours to show through, or to give an all over background colour. Because the felt is a bonded material it can be cut in any direction and will not fray. Any creases can be ironed (on a wool setting) but the felt is dry clean only.
