Each player takes the lead of an army of 4 units each with a unique combat tactic. At each turn, players draw three pieces representing these units in their bag, they must then define the best strategy to use them: deploy the unit or reinforce the one already in place, discard it to take the initiative, recruit another unit or perform a maneuver.
