Product description

Product description Gianniotiko (Type of Baklava & Kataifi) with Nuts and Syrup, Traditional Greek Handmade Pastry, Net Weight 1 kg, inox tray.: Gianniotiko is a type of Greek Baklava mixed with Kataifi that is rolled instead of layered. Phyllo sheets are brushed with butter, covered in a seasoned walnut mixture, and rolled up. The cooked Gianniotiko are soaked in a lemon (and occasionally cinnamon) infused syrup. Baklava is a Mediterranean dessert made with Phyllo dough, nuts, butter, and sugar. After baking to perfection, a sweet syrup is immediately poured over the pieces allowing the syrup to be absorbed into the layers. The history of Baklava changed with the history of the land. Baklava and its recipe had spread to the Mediterranean countries and to all Near East. Phyllo dough is named after the Greek word for " leaf ", being "as thin as a leaf". The thickness (or for that matter, the thinness) of Phyllo gives baklava is delicious crispy taste. So, when you eat a piece of baklava, you may think and taste Greece. Some baklava contains walnuts. Other variations include pistachios, pine nuts, almonds, or other nuts common to the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Chocolate is a delicious addition also. In many countries, Gianniotiko is an excellent compliment to coffee. Gianniotiko is used in weddings, family get-togethers, and various other feasts and celebrations. We are glad to fill your Gianniotiko (Baklava mixed with Kataifi) order quickly and efficiently. Ingredients Fillo pastry, Kataifi, Sugar, Water, Glucose syrup, Nuts 7% (Almonds 4%, Walnuts 3%), Fat (Vegetable Oil), Butter, Lemon juice, Cinnamon.
