The white New York Statue of Liberty version ECTO 1 License Plate is produced as seen on the Ectomobile in the 1989 movie Ghostbusters 2. In the opening of Ghostbusters 2, the Ghostbusters are down on their luck now that business has slowed down. As they pull up to a child's birthday party, the plate on the car simply reads ECTO 1 on the Statue of Liberty version license plate. The plate was later switched to ECTO-1A as it flowed with the plot of the movie better. We are happy to produce this plate because we know it will end up in the hands of the world’s biggest Ghostbusters enthusiasts who will appreciate its uniqueness!
