- GERBERA CALIFORNIAN GIANTS MIX SEEDS: Wonderfully colourful daisy-like flowers on long, strong stems. Excellent summer flowering indoor or patio pot plant and lovely as an exotic cut flower.
- SOW: January to April, FLOWERS: June to September, HEIGHT: 50cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 25 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN – January to April. WHERE – In trays or individual pots of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, do not cover seed with compost. Firm gently into the compost surface and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 20-25C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear.
- Grow on at approx. 15-18C. When large enough transplant singly into small pots. Grow on until ready for potting on finally into 15cm pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Keep compost moist but do not saturate. Over-winter at no less than 5℃. FLOWERS - June to September.
