Perfect for pots and containers Great in hanging in baskets Sow: January to March Flowering: June to October Sowing Almost fill a small seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly and lightly cover with a little more compost. Place in warmth at 20–25 °C and keep moist. Lower temperatures inhibit germination. Growing On Keep seedlings in a light position but shaded from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant individually into 8 cm pots. As young plants develop, grow on at 10–15 °C. Planting Out Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 2–3 weeks before planting out once the danger of frost has passed. Space plants 30 cm apart. Aftercare Geraniums benefit from regular feeding throughout the flowering season and from the removal of dead flower heads to encourage continuous blooming.
