Product description
Product description GARNELEN4YOU Sea Almond Tree Leaves - From Shrimp Lovers to Shrimp Lovers For best health and stable water biology Scientific background: the leaves of the sea almond tree (Terminalia catappa) have been known in aquariums as well as invertebrate and ornamental fish farming for decades due to their health-promoting properties (Ikhwanuddin et al., 2014). Valuable ingredients such as flavonoids, humic acids, tannins as well as saponins (Ahmed et al., 2005) are released into the water and have an antibiotic, antifungal effect (Muangsan and Senamontee, 2008; Goun et al., 2003), anti-inflammatory (Fan et al., 2004) and antioxidant (cinema. shita et al., 2007). Therapeutically and preventively, the dried leaves are used for bacterial and fungal infections, spawning fungus, gill worms, mucosal damage, fin rot, bite wounds and hole disease (Chansue et al., 2004; Schliewen, 2017). In addition, almond tree leaves themselves, as well as as a growing area, are an excellent long-term feed for invertebrates such as shrimp, crabs and snails. They also offer hiding places for the rearing of young animals and give aquariums, terrariums and palludaria a natural look. Application: 10 cm sheets per 30 litres of aquarium water. The release of the health-promoting ingredients remains over approx. 3 weeks and colours the aquarium water slightly brownish. Due to the humic acids, the pH value is slightly lowered, but the conductivity is hardly affected. Sea almond tree leaves are natural products. The texture, colour and size may therefore vary. GARNELEN4YOU almond tree leaves are a product of biologist and shrimp breeder Dr. Philipp T. Baumann and are also successfully used in his breeding. Indications 'shrimp', 'crab', 'snail', 'infection prevention', 'infection treatment' Ingredients natural ingredients such as humic acids, flavonoids, tannins, etc. Directions Use 10-15 cm leaves per 30 litres of aquarium water for best results.
