The GNX Wind is equipped with an easy-to-read glass composite monochrome LCD with backlight and customizable background colors, and is easy to read from almost any angle and even from a distance. Thanks to the wide range of background colors, there should be something for every taste to provide high contrast and good readability in almost all lighting conditions. Connected via the NMEA 2000 network, the device simultaneously displays 2 data fields and a digital wind rose to provide true and apparent wind data, navigation support, boat speed, and more. When using Auto Page Switches, pages are automatically displayed one after the other, so you don't have to operate any buttons. The low power consumption of 350 mW per day (without backlight) and 400 mW at night (with medium backlight) is perfect for sailors. Customizable display configurations display more than 15 key marine parameters for wind, speed, and navigation. Installation is easy, no matter whether flat or flush. The device can even use ANT technology to connect wirelessly to a compatible chartplotter or quatix 3 GPS marine smartwatch to send wind data directly to the device on the wrist. It is also available as part of a GNX Wired Sailing Package.
