For most uses, mix perlite with your chosen compost or growing medium until evenly distributed. For plants that need extra drainage, such as cacti and succulents, use a higher perlite mix. Lightly dampen before use to help reduce dust when mixing. GardenPrime Perlite is a lightweight growing medium additive.
