About Our Garden Base Kits With each 6ft x 4ft (24ft²) kit you will receive the following: 24 garden base panels manufactured from recycled plastic, 2m x 1.35m membrane to prevent weeds from growing up and through the foundation but allowing rain and nutrients to reach the ground, 5 U-pins to secure the membrane into the ground. You can use the 6ft x 4ft kit alone or combine multiple kits to create larger base sizes. Our eco-friendly foundations are manufactured in the UK from 100% recycled plastic. Owing to their unique formulation, the flexible but strong blend of recycled plastic makes every foundation both weather & UV resistant. Its resilience against the sun, rain and heat means that your plastic shed base will not break down or rot away over time which may be the case with traditional foundations such as concrete or wood. With a specially designed cell structure too, our bases have a large load-bearing capacity (up to 420 tonnes) as well as being permeable which means that rain and other liquids can drain naturally away from your garden structure, preventing potential rotting. Our hot tub base panels are simple to install due to their lightweight frame and slot and peg connection system which allows a full foundation to be laid in no time at all. You can also choose how to finish your garden base installation; fill the panels with decorative gravel for a french drain system finish, fill with soil and seed for a grass effect or simply leave unfilled!
