- Instructions for use: choosing the appropriate size is a basic aspect to achieve the therapeutic effectiveness of the product and guarantee its service life. Place the strap at the waist and wrap the straps around the back of the chair. Insert the lower band between the thighs in the perineal area, slide it under the seat backward, where we find the closure and fix it with the appropriate piece.
- Adjust the length of the straps to the desired freedom of movement. It is recommended to put the belt over a shirt or cape to minimise any possible friction. Make sure at the end of the movement area you want to allow the patient and the correct fixation of all the elements.
- Excessive compression can lead to an intolerance of the device or injury, so it is important to properly regulate the degree of compression of the belt and perineal ligament. Before any doubt or problems occur, it is recommended to check or supervision by a doctor or orthopaedic technician.
- Recommendations for washing and storing: It is recommended to use the device by hand or in the machine with neutral soap at a temperature of approx. 300 °C. Allow the device to drain well and remove the moisture with a dry cloth. Allow to dry at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources to dry (radiators, dryers, sunshine etc.). Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners. Can be tumble dried on a gentle cycle. Do not iron.
