The Forestry Suppliers Metric Fabric Diameter Tape Model 283D/10M is designed for metric tree and log measurement in forestry, arborist, land management, and field inventory work. One side measures diameter up to 320 cm with centimeter and millimeter graduations, while the reverse side provides a 10 m linear scale in meters and centimeters. The 5/8 inch wide synthetic fabric tape is reinforced with thin phosphor brass wires and includes a claw hook for positioning during measurement. A compact case with handcrank rewind helps keep the tape ready for repeat field use.
