All-In-One Mushroom Growing Kit | Millet Spawn Substrate. Made to order for guaranteed freshness Fully Sterilised Beginner friendly process Medical grade injection port Injection port, All-in-one Millet Spawn & Bulk Substrate. Medium & Large. Fully Sterilised. Easy to use system: 1. Gently ease some air in through the filter patch by carefully teasing the sides of the gusseted bag. 2. Wipe the grey injection port with the 70% alcohol wipe. 3. Inject spores/liquid culture via the black injection port. (we recommend using 3ml for medium bags (1kg) and 6ml for large bags (2.5kg). Although more can be used to speed up the growing process. 4. Allow mycelium to colonise the grain at room temperature for approximately 2 weeks, sometimes longer depending on quality and species of spores. 5. Mix the colonised millet and bulk substrate together (don't open bag) 6. Allow the mycelium to grow into the bulk substrate. 7. Fruit using your preferred method - We like fruiting directly from the bag: Cut the top off the bag or cut slit on side and introduce to high humidity and fresh air conditions depending on variety of mushrooms used.. The premium mushroom substrate is hydrated and pre-sterilised, sealed in 0.2 micron filter patch mushroom bag and can be stored in the fridge for up to 14 days. Each substrate bag is sealed before it is sterilised for 120 minutes at 121ºC and 115psi. We also sell sterile grain spawn. Please have a look at our other items if you are interested.
