The first drawings of Flower Fairies were made by C. M. Barker in 1923. Each of her drawings illustrates a poem about a flower or plant from the forest and hallway. Since this time the drawings, pictures and poems of Flower Fairies have been inspiring people over and over again. The detailed, lovingly hand-painted Flower Fairies bring the book illustrations to life. Meanwhile, there are a variety of different motifs of the figures on the base and even more different motifs on the stick. The figures on the stick can be wonderfully processed with flowers or arranged with a smaller potted plant. The pedestal figures are equally popular and ideal for collectors.
