Florist wires are most commonly used to create the stems of sugarflowers but can also be used to create and mount cake decorations. The wires come in a variety of gauges (thickness). The higher the gauge number the thinner the wire - for example a 16 gauge wire is the thickest in width and a 32 gauge is the thinnest. All of the green florist wires are 36cm long.
