INCLUDES: 4 Root Wraps and Rubber Bands, a section of drip irrigation tubing, rigid backing board that supports pockets and protects walls, hanging tabs. - POCKETS: Each pocket is 10 in (250 mm) wide by 6 in (150 mm) deep. Felt stretches open to hold a 4 to 6 inch potted plant which is wrapped in a root wrap. Provided root wrappers allow you to easily change and arrange plants. You can grow just about any plant in the Florafelt living wall system. - MOUNTING: Use provided hanging tabs at top or use smooth coated decking screws to attach directly to existing fencing or exterior rated wood supports. Recommended to add a rubber pond liner to surfaces for moisture protection when needed. - IRRIGATION: It is recommended to connect to a dedicated digital hose timer set to water for short cycles 2 to 4 times daily. Reduce watering times to minimize runoff. Watch plants to determine whether to set 5 min to 20 min intervals. - OUTDOORS: Planter will drip to garden below or you can provide a drain tray to direct water to a drain or garden nearby. - INDOORS: Will require a drip tray and tank to collect water that can be recirculated with a pump and timer. - HOW IT WORKS: Our patented hybrid-hydroponic growing system lets plants thrive because their roots grow into the moist plastic food safe fiber felt.
