This easy-to-use Tri Wheel Knife Sharpener maintains your knives at their peak sharpness for effortless slicing, dicing and chopping. The sharpener also has a magnetic base, enhancing your storage possibilities. Each sharpening wheel has a specific purpose – Coarse for when your knife has lost its edge, Medium for when your knife needs more than honing and after using the Coarse wheel, and the Fine wheel to hone (or polish) your newly sharpened blade. The wheels are angled to 15 degrees to match the cutting angle on our Flint & Flame knives. Instructions: 1. Add water to the reservoir of each wheel 2. Place the knife heel on the course wheel and draw the knife towards you, running from heel to tip 3. Repeat this 6 times 4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 on the medium wheel and then the fine wheel 5. Check the sharpness of the blade 6. Repeat if necessary
