The frustration shared by many Pen Makers / Wood Turners is that a standard twist / brad point drill bit clogs up & snaps, or warps an exotic wood blank. Many pen blanks are thrown out because of inadequate chip removal. The flutes of a Fisch pen drill are noticeably different when compared to standard drill bit flutes.
