About this item

- Common Name: Blue Fescue
- Characteristics: Festuca Intense Blue is a wirey, evergreen, grassy shrub with a compact, mounding habit. The leaves are long and form in a wire-like fashion with blue colouring. It will then flowers with blue-green spikes to add an extra dose of character to the location it is placed in. The best options for placement are in pots, borders, containers and plant displays.
- Flourishing Season: This shrub will flourish throughout the calendar year, with the wirey leaves providing great interest for any garden. Aside from that, blue-green flowering will begin to show in the period between April - June.

Watering it moderately well in the first year is recommended as this is when the plant will establish itself. After this period, the plant will develop a tolerance against any mild droughts.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
