Product Description This shepherd with sheep figurine – part of the 12-cm high Martino Landi Nativity scene series – is made of hand-painted resin. Depicted barefoot – with a sheep in his arms as a gift for Baby Jesus – the shepherd wears a white headdress and is the ideal character to make your contemplative manger scene even more complete. The strong shade of the red cape stands out, especially in comparison with the neutral tones of white and light green of the other garments. As the name of the series suggests, this crib figurine was designed by the renowned Italian sacred art sculptor Martino Landi, and it will definitely enhance the rural ambience of your Christmas crib. The inspiration to the tradition and the attention to detail perceivable in this item (e.g. the dress folds and the sheep fur) are the signature features of Landi's designs.
