Manufacturer's Description The Helios 30 Thermal Binder from Fellowes provides a quick and easy way to give any document a perfect book-like finish. As well as binding documents of up to 300 sheets, Helios 30 includes the Heatshield safety barrier which is designed to prevent accidental contact with the binder’s heating plate. The barrier is opened manually and closes automatically. It also includes a Sleep Mode system which switches the thermal binder to standby mode after periods of inactivity, reducing energy consumption and ensuring consistently safe operation. The Helios 30 Thermal Binder additionally features a variable binding cycle for different size documents and folds flat for easy storage. First impressions are important. To activate the machine, press the ‘Power-On’ button on the control panel. The machine will warm-up, the red LED will flash. The machine will ‘beep’ (3x) and the LED turns green when the machine is ready to bind. Select binding cycle is shown with blue LED. Use the timer selection buttons to navigate up or down the scale, if required. The scale has 10 settings. Eg: 6mm document thickness = setting 1 (up to 60 sheets), 30mm document = setting 10 (up to 300 sheets).
