Product description Millions of living, natural marine filter bacteria in depot balls. In a 100 ml can, approx. 100-110 Bacto Reef Balls included. 1 Bacto Reef Ball has about 1 cm diameter. Dosage: bring 2 Bacto Reef Balls / 100 litres every 2 weeks into a flow area of the filter, ideally in a filter bag or stocking. Start half the dosage at the first use. For aquariums without skimmer technology, quarter the dosage quantity. If necessary, the quantity can be doubled. Make sure that the balls are not in the suction area of pumps. When in contact with water, the Bacto Reef Balls dissolve slowly and evenly within the next 2-3 weeks and release bacteria, as well as a highly effective enzyme solution into the water. The balls are made from a biodegradable polymer. A change in colour and size is therefore normal and does not affect the amount of bacteria contained. It is possible and desires that the skimmer activity increases significantly after the addition of the Bacto Reef Balls. This is the first sign of increased nutrient degradation. With the addition or removal of the Bacto Reef Balls, the sewing material content in the pool can be precisely adjusted.
