Product description Mallenders & Sallenders and Feather Mites tend to go hand in hand. Our M&S Shampoo combo are ideal for these two ailments. Farriers Equine Care have now added a Feather Mite Shampoo to our range and along with our M&S cream work perfectly together. Feather Mites are microscopic parasites that live and thrive in the feathers of heavy horses such as Shires, Friesians, Dales & Cobs. Feather Mites live against the skin and the warm moist environment of the feathers make it an ideal breeding ground and can be difficult to treat without the proper treatment. Farriers Shampoo is ideal and easy to use. ( Make sure you work well into the skin leave for 5 minutes then rinse ) Only a small amount of cream is needed daily on the effected areas usually behind the knees & inside the hock joint or lower leg area. We have seen and heard of great results. Directions Work well into the skin, leave for 5 minutes, then rinse.
