Fargesia murieliae 'Lava' is a relatively new introduction and is a compact smaller growing form of Muriels bamboo growing in the classic umbrella shape, Fargesia murieliae 'Lava' is a clump-forming bushy bamboo with deep yellow/green canes eventually arching under the weight of bright green narrow leaves. Happy in sun or part shade this bamboo is extremely hardy.
