Transform your garden with the striking beauty of the Fagus sylvatica Purpurea, commonly known as Copper Beech. This versatile hedging plant offers a luxurious alternative to traditional green varieties, boasting rich purple-bronze foliage that creates a dramatic and colourful feature. Whether you're looking for a natural screen, a security barrier, or simply a way to add vibrant interest to your landscape, the Copper Beech delivers. Its leaves mature to a crisp copper-brown in autumn and are largely retained through winter, ensuring your garden remains visually appealing even in the colder months. As spring arrives, new growth emerges, gracefully shedding the old leaves. Cultivating a magnificent hedge with Copper Beech is straightforward. These plants knit together beautifully when planted side-by-side, forming a dense and interwoven structure that can be maintained at virtually any height up to 12 metres (39ft). They are remarkably easy to care for, requiring only one or two trims per year to keep them looking their best. This hardy and well-behaved hedging solution is ideal for creating defined borders or adding a touch of elegance and colour to your outdoor space.
