Squeeze the handle completely to open the tool. At the end of the closing stroke, the ratchet mechanism will release the handle and the tool will bounce off. 2. Place the terminal in a suitable crimping chamber (match the color mark with the terminal insulation). 3. Fix the terminal in place and gently squeeze the tool handles together until the ratchet is fully engaged to fix the terminal. Please do not deform the bobbin. 4. Insert the stripped wire into the terminal box, and while holding the wire in place, squeeze it to the left until the ratchet is released. Allow the tool handle to open and remove the crimp terminal.
