This egg is a replica of the famous Faberge Royal Danish egg. The Royal Danish Egg (also known as Danish Jubilee Egg) is an enamelled, enamelled Easter egg created in 1903 under the supervision of Russian jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé for Nicholas II. Made by Russia and presented the egg to his mother, the Empress of the Widow, Maria Feodorovna. As one of seven Faberge eggs currently lost, it is one of two eggs whose existence is known only from a single photo. The egg can be used as a jewellery box.
