PITT pastel pencils from FaberCastell have extra thick waxfree pastel leads of 4.3mm diameter and drawings need to be fixed afterwards. The 60 bright colours are highly pigmented, have an unsurpassed degree of lightfastness and do not change colour appreciably when fixed. The woodcased PITT pastel pencils are clean to handle and can be blended by using a paper wiper, Colour Shaper, brush or finger. These pencils should only be sharpened with a sharp knife.
