- Easy to install, the hinged drop-down-door loft hatch provides easy access through your ceiling into the loft space. Designed specifically for a structural opening of 562mm x 662mm. The plastic loft hatch comes fully assembled and ready to fit, straight out of the box. Extra insulation is provided within the door to offer an incredibly low U-value of 0.35 W/m2K.
- Clean and discreet, the loft hatch comes with an easy to clean finish and is maintenance free. A pole cap is provided to operate the twist cap lock mechanism to release the downward opening hinged door. The draught seals have been tested and certified by BRE as meeting the Building Regulations Part L’s reasonable air leakage requirements.
- Energy Efficient - Extra Insulated - Low U-value – 0.35 W/m²K - Acoustic performance of 30dB.
- Purpose made product saves time and money compared with traditional joiner-made timber loft access doors. Excellent aesthetic appearance. Factory finished and ready to fit straight from the box. Maintenance free, no need to paint.
