Xpanda 600 Sealing Tape Is A Soft, Flexible Expandable Foam Used Primarily As A Sealant To Prevent Water Entry And Retain Heat In Exterior And Interior Applications. With Its Excellent Acoustic Properties, Under High Compression, It Will Create A Certified 600 Pascal Seal. In Low Compression Applications, It Provides An Aesthetic And Pleasant Bond Between Smooth Or Irregular Surfaces Such As Brick, Concrete, Wood And Plastic, Etc. The Foam Is An Open Cell Polyurethane, Heavily Impregnated With Acrylic Based, Water Repellent Uv Resins That Also Have Flame Retardant Properties. It Comes In Pre Compressed, Slow Expanding Rolls With Adhesive Tape Applied To One Side For Ease Of Application. When Unrolled And Applied To A Window Frame Or Similar Structure, The Pressure Release Process Allows Ample Time To Position And Install The Frame While The Foam Strip Expands And Integrates With The Adjacent Surface Once Installation Completed.
