Product Description Exo Terra Turtle Cleaner is a 100% biological turtle habitat cleaner helps to control odours and break down solid organic waste. This helps eliminate organic waste in turtle habitats. The biological formula efficiently reduces solid turtle waste and leftovers that are a natural result of turtle feeding. It also helps improve filtration efficiency and is effective at controlling odours. The natural byproduct of this turtle cleaner is a food source for desirable beneficial bacteria. Turtles produce organic waste in a variety of ways as they grow they continuously shed parts of their shell as well as skin. During feeding they rip and tear at food with their nails and produce copious quantities of waste. This is tough on filters and easily surpasses existing biological flora capacities within their habitat unless turtle cleaner is employed.
