These surrounds are an ideal solution for preventing unsightly finger marks around your switches and sockets and will also add that finishing touch to any room. Socket or Light Switch Surrounds are a stunning design feature for your home design. Unlike other types you can buy, our finger plates are mounted behind the switch without any adhesive, so no nasty sticky tape to mess around with. They can be removed leaving no trace on the wall. To fit, remove the 2 screws from the fitting and angle the surround diagonally over the socket. Make sure everything is straight and refit the 2 screws. In some cases, you may need longer screws (which are available from most good diy shops) to compensate for the additional thickness of the surround. Always be very careful not to touch the wires when fitting or if you feel a unsure, contact a local specialist for help.
